Eindhoven, The Netherlands — January 9, 2018: It’s not often you get the opportunity to do something that’s actually a lot of fun for everyone involved. A collaboration with the research community and a leading digital agency takes place in Eindhoven. This is exactly what we did this week as we collaborated on a project with the research group at Leiden University. We were able to explore new ways of thinking about digital transformation while also connecting with other researchers who share our interest in creativity, innovation, and data collection. Here are some highlights from our trip back home.
The collaboration: What’s next?
We had the opportunity to collaborate with researchers at Leiden University in the Netherlands who have been exploring ways of thinking about digital transformation and creativity. We were also able to work with researchers from other departments of the university who share our interest in data and innovation. A few highlights from our collaboration included: – Working with a range of digital platforms that have been developed to allow for a more focused research effort. – Improving the quality of data by using publicly available data. – Increasing the range of data types that can be captured and created. – The ability to create reports with visuals and graphs.
Work with a range of digital platforms
One of the most common topics we discussed with our colleagues at Leiden was how we could use blockchain technology to create a digital ecosystem that would allow users to exchange data and create value through a decentralized network. The team has been exploring this concept for a while and has recently presented their ideas at the first blockchain and data innovation conference in the Netherlands. With the recent announcements of the launch of the DRAFT and DIMENSIONAL technologies, we’re now seeing more and more companies thinking about how to create a decentralized digital ecosystem with a blockchain-based platform.
Making the most of data and artificial intelligence
After discussing the advantages of working with a range of digital platforms, we turned to AI for inspiration. The field of artificial intelligence is relatively new, but it’s already generating lots of creative content and exploring new ways of thinking. AI has found application in different areas including natural language processing, rule-based algorithms, and computer vision. With the introduction of the blockchain and data ecosystems, we’re now seeing more and more companies using AI to create a digital ecosystem. In addition to making data more accessible through open-source projects, businesses are now turning to the blockchain as a central source of digital assets. Companies have also begun using smart contract technology to stores and distribute value between users.
Collaboration as a platform for measuring digital transformation
If collaboration is the ultimate goal, then why don’t we do it that way? It’s the kind of initiative that’s already achieving great things for society. Collaboration is not just about coming together to discuss ideas and collaborate. It can be about showcasing and celebrating your ideas, and building upon the work others have done. By collaborating on your ideas and showcasing the benefits of your solutions, you create a much-needed public platform for information and innovation. You’re also contributing to the collective progress of the industry as a whole by showcasing the benefits of your product or service to potential customers and investors.
The future of data in business – how to integrate it with analytics
We’ve all heard the criticism that business leaders should use data as a candour when discussing their business strategy. But what if we started to collaborate more with data partners, talking about our data and using data to inform our thinking? What if we spent more time talking with experts in order to better understand the data and what it could tell us about our business and customers? What if we spent more time thinking about how to use data to inform our strategic planning?
Conclusion
We had a great time collaborating with research institutions in both the Netherlands and Germany. We’ve been able to bring new ideas and approaches to the table, gain valuable insights with respect to digital transformation and create a common platform for measuring digital transformation. We’re now actively exploring ways to bring this collaborative process to life in the real world. With collaboration as a platform for measuring digital transformation, we’re able to interact with each other more expansively, increase the amount of data we collect and produce, and spread the value that’s generated. This collaboration also enables us to create a standardized and consistent data experience for customers and stakeholders alike. What’s next for the collaboration? Here are some exciting projects we’re collaborating on this week. – Collaboration with the research community at Leiden University on how digital transformation could be achieved with blockchain technology and data ecosystems. – Working with a range of digital platforms to create a more consistent user experience across devices. – Improving the quality of data by using publicly available data. – The ability to create reports with visuals and graphs. – Collaboration as a platform for measuring digital transformation. – Conclusion The collaboration was a great opportunity for all involved. We’re now able to engage more deeply with one another in order to advance our common goals. We’ve also created this platform for measuring digital transformation and are enthusiastic about how it feels to collaborate with other teams on the project. We’re committed to making the most of this collaboration and will keep exploring new ways of measuring digital transformation.
